Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant

Our client based in Bedford who has seen rapid growth in the last twelve months has a new permanent job for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. 

This is a fast paced and hands on role and looks after the whole end to end process of Purchase Ledger. You will be responsible for managing all the invoices, reconciling the supplier statements, supplier payments and solving any problems as they arise. You will also have responsibility for credit requests, credit checking and reconciliation of all bank accounts and staff expenses. 

The ideal candidate needs to have a strong background in accounts, good organisational skills and strong IT skills - excel is a must and SAGE experience is advantageous.
