Job Description

 

Summary:  The Purchase Order Processor is responsible for working with the Purchase Order Coordinator and all divisions within Select to ensure PO’s are submitted and maintained in a timely manner. They are responsible for addressing any issues they find and interacting with their direct supervisor to address and eliminate any issues.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Meets purchase order productivity and accuracy targets.

·         Follows through on completion of PO’s in voiding through Regional Office.

·         Enters and processes purchase orders.

·         Develops and maintains effective working relationships with members of cross-functional teams.

·         Assists in resolution of purchase order issues/problems.

·         Prioritize purchase orders on a daily basis.

·         Make changes to PO's as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

·         HS diploma or GED required.

·         Demonstrated ability to focus manage multiple priorities.

·         Computer Skills Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Access) Required

·         Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with peers.

·         Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication (written verbal) skills.

·         Must possess valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select’s insurance guidelines.

 

Physical Demands:

·         Ability to lift 1-15 lbs. 

·         Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. 

·         Ability to hear telephone conversations and speak clearly. 

·         Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area.

 

 

Work Environment:

·         Traditional Monday through Friday, 8 – 5 pm

·         Some overnight travel may be required.
