Currently Vantage Apparel has an exciting Fulltime Purchasing Agent position available in Avenel, NJ.
The role will be responsible for updating purchase orders with size and date adjustments where required.
Monitor the projection report to help prioritize product need.
Follow-up with import/domestic vendors via email/phone to monitor orders and to ensure completion in a timely manner.
Update applicable reports/systems regarding: availability, stock, projections, and status.
Run/prioritize open order reports and ACT with current costs, sell proces, etc.
Source product and negotaite pricing, minimums, delivery, freight, etc. Issue quotes to applicable parties based on negotiated agreements.
Isuue/update UPC's by product, style, color, size and customer
Qualified individuals must have 1 year college/technical experience to 3-6 months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education/experience.
In addition, computer skills in MS Office Suite are required.
