Description:
We are currently looking for a Purchasing Agent with an electrical manufacturing background.
This position requires ordering pre-determined quantities of materials from MRP/ERP reports and purchase requests. Candidate will order replenishment quantities from existing kanbans. Candidate will be responsible to provide updates on all status requirements- both verbal and written. Must enter purchase orders from pre-approved purchase requisitions and MRP/ERP reports.

Requirements:
Following Requirements:
-5 years experience in an electrical manufacturing environment, 4 years as a purchasing or production control assistant
-Experienced user of ERP/MRP system
-Demonstrated experience creating work orders, releasing kanbans, transferring material electronically and placing complex purchase orders in a timely manner
-Vendor relations
-Understand the kanban process and makes recommendations for release quantities and frequencies
