About the Job

I am currently looking for a career mined person with purchasing experience to join manufacturing company in Basildon. Duties will include providing daily support to the purchasing process, and manager, placing orders and processing supplier invoices. You will also maintain accurate records of all orders, supplier cost prices and handle a variety administration as well as communicate with other departments to ensure they are aware of lead times, delivery dates and product shortages.
The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, be conscientious, numerate with a methodical approach and "can-do" attitude. Must be proactive and able to work under your own initiative. Experience of Excel, Word and Outlook is essential.
