OFFICER
Invacare, a leader in the assembly and distribution of home and aged care health equipment has a vacancy for an experienced Purchasing Officer. Duties include and not limited to: providing timely and efficient replenishment of stock, Perform purchasing functions to help ensure achievement of service delivery targets and value for money, Ensure finished goods inventory levels are maintained within agreed targets, Enter and maintain data in purchasing systems, Develop relationships with suppliers, Manage supplier performance, Provide rolling forecasts to key suppliers, Analyse material shortages, provide accurate receiving information, maintain standards cost.
Previous purchasing experience is preferred ideally with exposure to both local and imported product. MRP processes and systems, and ERP systems knowledge is required. JD Edwards experience preferred but not essential.
