PURCHASING ANALYST Develop and streamline reports that will improve functions of reordering material for the Company’s manufacturing inventories. Update and maintain company-wide purchasing and planning information. Provide assistance and technical expertise for developing and implementing purchasing and application software processes and methods. Review sales records and current inventory levels of stock. Communicate and recommend changes to the planning of our material requirements. It is the responsibility of the Purchasing Analyst to help plan, direct and control the inventory planning of select product groups with the use of lean manufacturing principles. Qualifications: superior quantitative and analytical skills, Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Operations Management, Manufacturing or Business preferred, and 4+years of related experience is preferred. CPM/APICS certification a plus.
