Purchasing & Stock Administrator Job in North London, London UK
Premier Work Support are seeking a Stock and Purchasing Administrator for their client based in Brimsdown!
A new member of team is required to fulfil all aspects of administration within the purchasing and stock control departments. This is a new role that has been created due to the continued growth of the company.
You will be required to:
General admin duties, including filing, running of reports, letter writing and organisation of post.
Keeping of spreadsheets, logs, price files and the internal system is keep up to date and accurate.
Collation and distribution of information to and from external sources.
Written and verbal communication between the company and its customers and suppliers.
Update and communicate information to internal staff
Chasing of outstanding purchase orders
Booking in of stock
Placing purchasing orders with manufacturers
This role will also include an aspect of Stock Control. During busy and holiday periods you will be required to cover as an additional person within the stock control department ensuring all functions of the department are met.
Ideally you will have good administrative and computer skills and have working knowledge of Word and Excel
Be analytical with a good level of maths
Outgoing with an energetic approach
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Confident telephone manner
You will be required to spend sometime within the warehouse to fulfil some functions
