A Senior Food Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager is required for this specialist business focused on sourcing food products from Europe and further afield including the Far East.
The company is a leading food specialist with a vast range of food products produced and supplied to all areas of the UK food industry.
Our client is looking for a Purchasing professional capable of leading and developing an already strong 10+ person purchasing and in bound supply chain team.
If you have a strong track record in Purchasing and are used to working in a fast paced business then this could be an exciting opportunity for you.
Key Criteria for success in this role are:
• A number of years' experience running a purchasing team
• Excellent understanding of Stock Control and In Bound logistics from international destinations
• Strong understanding of the International Purchasing with proven track record of success in sourcing products worldwide
• Previously responsibility for over £10m purchasing budget across 100's of SKU's
• Able to construct, review and sign off international contracts
• Ideally you will be educated to degree level and have formal membership of CIPS.
• You'll be a key driver for success in implementing the business strategy and will ensure the company executive are fully appraised of issues, trends and opportunities
