PWM: Partners Coverage Group, Financial Investment Professional (FIP), Analyst/Associate

The Private Wealth Management Group develops and manages relationships with wealthy individuals and family groups, advising them on ways in which to build and protect their financial assets through equity, fixed income and alternative investments.

A position as a Financial Investment Professional (FIP) has arisen within the Partners Coverage Group.  The FIP is responsible for supporting the team in the process of establishing new business relationships as well as managing existing internal and external client relationships, whilst gaining a broad-based understanding of markets, investments and asset management generally.

 Further responsibilities include:

• Acting as a resource to Investment Professionals (IP’s) in supporting their client relationships and being involved in all aspects of asset management, sales and trading for client accounts
• Providing market and research updates to internal and external clients
• Monitoring and analyzing clients’ portfolios and their individual securities and products
• Trading and monitoring trade settlement
• Developing and preparing marketing presentations that address equity, fixed income and alternative investments, asset allocation and external manager selection
• Assisting on projects related to new business development, strategic planning, product development and other marketing infrastructure issues
• Working in conjunction with various product groups in response to client needs
• General client service and team support

Experience required

• Previous experience in a similar role with some trading experience
• Good financial markets knowledge (preferably including structured products)
• Strong analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Strong Leadership skills, record of demonstrated achievement
• Creative thinker
• Detail-oriented and a commitment to excellence
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, take ownership of his/her work
• Team Player
• Bloomberg literate
• IAD exams strongly preferred to enable FCA registration
