Python Developer - C++, C#, SQL, MS-SQL Server, Libraries, Python, Scripting, API, Front Arena, FIX, Bloomberg, CMR
Proprietary Trading House. Central London
£40k - £60k + Benefits + Bonus.
Harrington Starr is working with a leading Proprietary Trading House based in Central London to find a Python Developer to join their trading systems team.
As the Python developer (C++, C#, FIX) you will be working on developing trading systems for new business areas and markets that this firm are looking to move into. Once these revenue streams have proved to be profitable then you will work on stream lining the systems and making them automated. You will have exposure to the whole range of financial asset classes, including equities, bonds, derivatives and Fixed Income, and won't be restricted to a single class, thus enabling you to work anywhere within Financial Services.
This firm are looking to expand into a variety of new markets and you will be exposed to both full life cycle development and a large range of different asset classes.
* Excellent knowledge of Python Development - Essential
* Experience wrapping C++ and C# libraries in Python - Essential
* Good knowledge of MS SQL Server - Essential
* Financial Knowledge - Beneficial
* Experience with Front Arena - Beneficial
* Knowledge of FIX and Bloomberg - Beneficial
This a great experience for a Python developer (C++, C#, FIX) to work directly with the CTO of this Trading Firm and build new systems in for a range of new asset classes. You will be in a highly technical firm and will be able to really move your career to the next level.
