Looking for experienced Python developer to join an established and friendly team. You will be working within a Linux environment with other open source users and techies.
Your main responsibilities will be writing clean code, developing new projects from scratch and bug fixing. This position will be working on a wide range and selection of client projects. You will be working in a growing company that is fast becoming a well known name.
You will be working on exciting new projects and varied software applications, developing software in a wide range of technology areas from Web applications through Python based middle ware to real-time driver software for Linux operating systems.
Technical Skills Required for Python Developer role are:
Experience in the following software technology areas is required:
• Ideally have 5 years + full lifecycle development of commercial Python applications.
• Developing released products with Python in a software engineering environment.
• Linux development environment.
• Object oriented design.
To be successful in this Python Developer role, knowledge of the following is desirable:
• XML, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Development of unit and integration tests.
• Use of source control and defect tracking.
The Python developer role will involve:
• Liaising with the existing team to learn about the software and its development environment.
• Designing, implementing and testing product features in Python.
• Working with the test department to ensure smooth progress to release.
