Our client is a global financial services organization with offices in multiple locations around the world and a reputation for innovative use of cutting edge technologies across Trading Platforms and Wealth / Asset Management Systems. They're currently looking to bring on board a junior to mid-level Python Developer with a strong web focus, specifically across technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML and SQL.
You'll work as with a team of professionals who develop and deploy Wealth Management solutions utilizing dynamic languages / web technologies such as Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL. The team continually liaises with various departments within the company and collaborate with other members to develop solutions based on requirements / issues identified. In this ever evolving industry the team is required to keep up to date with emerging web standards and web application architecture.
Requirements of the role:
- 2 - 3 years' experience developing with Python.
- Strong Web development skills - JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL.
- A passion for Web Standards and Web application Architectures.
- IT related degree or industry relevant certifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- C++ development skills / Wealth Management Systems knowledge (desirable).
