QA Analyst Job in Baton Rouge 70810, Louisiana US

Growing medical software company looking for a self-motivated QA Analyst with strong technical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues

·         Testing medical software, including functional, performance, and installation testing

·         Writing test plans/cases/scripts and documenting test results

·         Entering and processing change requests for enhancements and bug fixes in bug tracking/configuration management tool

·         Preparing and packaging releases and release instructions

·         Upgrading and maintaining QA environments (including application servers and databases)

·         Providing time estimates for various work products

·         Interfacing with project management, development, technical support, and sales personnel as needed

·         Assisting in customer implementation and acceptance testing as requested

·         Providing application and development tool training for customers and other staff members as required

·         Assisting in customer technical support as required

Qualifications:
Quality Assurance Analyst with at least 3 years of experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science/Engineering required

·         Medical software experience strongly preferred

·         Experience  with client-server/multi-tier enterprise solution software

·         FogBugz bug tracking software

·         Server operating systems (MS)

·         Databases (Sybase SQL Anywhere, SQL Server)

·         Development Tools (Visual Studio 2008/2010)

·         Programming Languages(VB.Net, C#)

·         MS Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)

·         Excellent oral and written communications

·         Ability to work efficiently/effectively and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Compensation: 40-60K DOE
