Located in New York City, we are an exciting and rapidly growing mobile technology company. We work with many Fortune 500 clients to help improve the web accessibility of their websites. Due to our growth, we are looking for a sharp QA Analyst with strong manual testing experience to join our team!
What you need for this position:
- 3-7 years of experience of software quality assurance of web-based applications, software or websites in a client services environment
- Must have client facing experience- strong client interaction and great communication and customer service skills.
- Manual testing experience
- Test case development and creation
- Experience with requirements analysis and a strong understanding of the SDLC
- Experience working with Project Managers and other development team members in a collaborative environment
- Excellent written/verbal communication and attention to detail
- Motivated personality with desire for growth and passion for QA
Some nice to haves:
- Experience with applications and components on mobile platforms such as Android SDK, iPhone SDK, HTML5CSS3, and RIMBlackBerry is a plus
- Selenium, Jira, XStudio or Quality Center knowledge also a plus
What will you be doing:
- Under the supervision of the PM Lead, conduct manual QA testing of new product releases, including mobile websites and mobile web applications
- Responsible for production QA testing, drafting regression test cases, submitted bug tickets, draft test scripts in accordance with validation standards and techniques.
- Review requirement documents and create/execute test cases
- Executing the test plan as scheduled and reporting results
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functionality, errors and inconsistencies using established processes and procedures
- Support continuous improvements in test coverage and test effectiveness
