Citco Fund Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd. has been operating successfully since March 2007 and has established itself as the market leader in hedge fund administration. We offer a complete range of accounting, middle office administration, shareholder and corporate services to hedge funds and collective investment schemes.

The CFS Connectivity Group is responsible for the majority of data flows, inbound and outbound, for various Citco applications including: Æxeo, CTP and Ephesus.  As a global group with representation in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America, the group provides support for all CFS offices globally.  This support must be provided seamlessly and the various regions work together cooperatively.  Client support is provided based on resource availability, not client location. Working together, CFS Connectivity Management sets all strategic policy for the group and insures that common policies and procedures are implemented across all regions.

Position Overview

This position will focus on establishing, conducting and performing consistent, effective and thorough methods of analysis and testing for CFS Connectivity’s applications and interfaces.  The successful candidate will ensure all business requirements are met and tested thoroughly prior to implementation to production environments, will manage the testing process for projects and will act as a mentor and provide support in problem identification and resolution. This position reports to the Lifecycle Management Director. 

Main Job Functions/Tasks

• Ensure product development and system modifications have been thoroughly tested (including regression testing) and maintain consistency with global business objectives.

• Develop and execute test plans for system changes.

• Analyze output for accuracy and completeness.

• Coordinate evaluation of test outcomes with appropriate staff.

• Track metrics on defects, test results, etc and ensure metrics comply with testing and customer requirements. (For Audit). Present Metrics to the Connectivity Management Team.

• Function as a mentor and provide support in problem identification and resolution.

• Participate and promote communication among business, management and IT personnel.

• Provide adequate training on system changes, enhancements and new systems.

• Provide identification and clarification of business, system and procedural issues

• Participate in the creation and execution of the Quality Assurance training plans

• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure adherence to established testing standards.

• Analyze software and related processes for business risk and procedural impact.

• Share information; act as team player and embrace teamwork.

Education, Qualifications and Special Training

• Degree qualified from an accredited institution in an IT/Business related discipline.

Experiences

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the financial services industry.

• Candidates must have knowledge of the financial services industry, its products and practices, and a strong interest in further development and learning.

• Working knowledge of trading, risk and processing characteristics of equity, fixed income and OTC products.

• Candidates must possess excellent communication skills.

• Must have knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures and best practices.

• Information Systems Knowledge Understanding of a formal processes and SDLC.

• Specific Instrument knowledge with Swaps, Options, Equities, Currencies, Futures, Fixed Income, Commodities, etc is a requirement with an understanding of the trading flows of these instruments as well as pricing models.

• QA Review Inspection.

• Quality Principles Testing Principles.

• Working experience with Mercury Interactive test tools Quality Center (minimum 2 years).

• Familiar with Java programming language (can follow conceptually what is written in the code base).

• Candidates must have solid problem solving skills.  They will be required to research problems reported by their user community to determine whether an actual problem exists or if additional training is required.
