Current Need
Position is located at our North Druid Hills location.
We are currently seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer expert with QuickTest Professional or equivelant experience to include the ability to develop robust and reusable automation frameworks including hybrid frameworks incorporating key aspects as needed of data-driven, keyword-driven and modular frameworks. You will be a key member of RelayHealth Quality Assurance team.
Position Description
Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines. Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to ascertain quality of software. Reviews new or modified program, including documentation, diagram, and flowchart, to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines. May review computer operating log to identify program processing errors. Tests program for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to establishment standards. May identify differences between establishment standards and user applications and suggest modifications to conform to standards. May conduct compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.
Additional Knowledge Skills
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years experience in software and/or automated program testing.
- 4+ years experience with QuickTest Professional or other automated testing tool
- Expert Level VBScript knowledge
- Programmatic Descriptions
- Strong knowledge of test automation (functional and performance) against large scale/complex applications
Additional Knowledge Skills
- Review requirement, scope, technical design document for testing scope and traceability.
- Author test cases/scripts/functions/function libraries in QuickTest Professional.
- Experience in other automated testing applications desired.
- Design automated tests to perform various types of testing as identified by test plans, test cases, requirements, and use cases.
- Report, validate bugs and track statuses.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodology and hands-on web-based test automation and framework development experience.
- Maintain and update existing suite of tests based on thorough understanding of the application and requirements.
- Implement and adhere to established QA processes and standards.
- Ability to Interface with Quality Assurance groups at multiple locations and insure tasks are completed on time.
- Experience with Pharmacy management systems software is desirable.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years experience in software and/or automated program testing.
Education
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
