QA Automation Engineer
ProPay, Inc., in Lehi Utah, is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of QA Engineering tasks including; design and development of an automation test framework in .Net.
Coding and executing automated test scripts using C#, including some design and execution of API level tests. You will be responsible for the automation (functional as well as load test) and testing of external and internal systems, ensuring the successful execution of business and technical requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work closely with Development, Quality Engineering, Product Management and Technical Operations during the development, test, and launch stages of the software development and release cycle (Waterfall and Agile).
* Define test plans and test specifications for functional, unit, integration and performance testing, as well as the manual execution of test cases, and reporting product failures.
* Develop test frameworks in Watin or Selenium for UI regression test automation.
* Design and develop load test suite using open source tools and/or using scripting.
* Create and execute complex database queries (SQL) to validate database performance and data integrity.
* Follow project milestones; design, implement, document, and execute tests; evaluate and communicate results; and investigate product features (including ad hoc testing)
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelors' degree preferred
* 3 to 5 years software quality assurance engineering experience
* 3 to 5 years experience with automated test tools and Automation testing with Watin or Selenium. (Or any of the following: Quick Test Pro, JMeter, LoadRunner, Silk, WinRunner, OPEN STA etc.)
* 4+ years scripting and/or programming (e.g. Perl, VBscript, Shell, PHP, C#/Java, Ruby, etc.)
* 2+ years automation test framework/object repository design with automation script coding (Descriptive programming) and execution.
* 2+ years Web-based GUI testing.
* Experience with XML and web services testing.
* Customer-focused, ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects.
* Experience with defect tracking systems and other software life cycle management tools. (Team Foundation Server, TestLink)
