Role Responsibilities: QA Automation Engineer
As an integral member of the Quality Assurance team, your primary role will be developing and implementing test automation strategies, estimating automation development and maintenance, and delivering automation suites for Regression, Smoke, and Project-driven testing. Specifically, you will:
• Plan the delivery of the test scripts to be automated
• Create automated test scripts
• Contribute to identifying the test scripts that could be automated; prioritize based on business needs
• Deliver automated scripts using open-source tools
• Provide mentoring on automation to other QA team members
• Act as QA Lead for new features and products as needed

Requirements
• Passion for finding ways to streamline testing processes
• An understanding of the challenges involved in building popular applications at web scale
• Proven track record of implementing automation tools; expert level ability with open source automation tools preferred
• Experience implementing testing in a continuous integration environment
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years experience testing Web-based technologies
• Strong experience working with large scale consumer web-based applications
• In depth knowledge of SDLC, Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Must be Mac, PC, and smart phone literate
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and MySQL (or a similar framework DB)
• Experience working with Jira perferred
• Experience executing Performance Testing a plus
• Comfort with Git or other VCS
• Must pass an internal technical review
