QA Consultants, Managers and Engineers Job in London And Aberdeen, London UK
Our Client is a global engineering consultancy, service and solution provider, supporting clients in the gas and oil industries.
The jobs:
We are urgently seeking experienced Quality Assurance Consultants, Managers and Engineers with experience in large Oil Gas offshore / subsea projects, platform or FPSO operations, including commissioning and de-commisioning. Responsibilities will typically extend into Quality Control and HSE.
The post holder tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing advice and guidance on the project quality deliverables and support the Project Manager in ensuring that Q considerations are fully integrated into the decision making.
- Delivering a Quality Management System and QA/QC related deliverables
- Providing project QA support and assure development and implementation of an effective Project Quality Strategy and PQP.
- Identifying risks that can be mitigated by Quality Assurance, Quality Control and surveillance activities.
- Delivering overall QA/QC guidance in relation to the offshore and onshore engineering construction contracts.
- Overseeing Contractor / Vendor QA/QC activities.
- Carrying out Project / Contractor / Vendor audits
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management or an equivalent qualification
- At least 8 years experience in a QA/QC position, which should include some time working within the off-shore oil and gas industry
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Quality Management Principles.
- Quality auditing experience (Lead Auditor qualification preferred)
- Full familiarisation with ISO 9000, API and other appropriate industry standards
