QA Coordinator Job in Medicine Hat, Alberta Canada
As part of the SNC-Lavalin group of companies, SNC-Lavalin T D designs, develops, and delivers engineering, including system planning and studies, procurement, and construction solutions for high voltage power transmission line and substation projects from our Canadian, United States and International office locations.
SNC-Lavalin TD has an exciting full time career opportunity for an experienced QA Coordinator. Primarily working out of our Medicine Hat office and under the direct supervision of the Manager, Quality, the QA Coordinator will be primarily responsible for managing the Quality Management System (QMS).
Additional responsibilities for the Project Quality Coordinator are:
• Assisting the project field staff to ensure compliance with the client, industry and internal quality requirements.
• Ensure that all project quality documents such as project quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITP), construction and commissioning binders are in place, implemented, monitored and results are recorded in a timely and organized fashioned.
• Ensure that all site quality records are updated and available when required. This includes uploading of project records in the company’s project SharePoint (PDM).
• Coordinate the inspection and testing to be made on site as per the approved ITP’s.
• Work in collaboration with the Subcontractors and the third party testing laboratory.
• Ensure proper calibration of measuring and testing equipment used for Quality Control.
• Ensure that marked up drawings are submitted within 20 days after completion of the activity.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Project Quality Manager on the progress of Quality activities.
