Position Description
QA Engineer
Title: QA Engineer
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Duration: 4-6 Months
Project : NAP 7 Migration Data / ETL QA Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create test cases for ETL process and data quality for data center migration projects
* Ensure each data movement process (ETL) migration without error
* Ensure the overall system integration from source data to final presentation
REQUIREMENTS
* At least 5 years ETL /QA development experiences in Linux using Python, Shell, Java in big data organization on ETL, Data Migrations, Data Integrations
* Expert level on writing scripts, SQL to compare the data difference between two data centers and identify the root cause if inconsistence occurred
* Programming experience in Linux, SQL, Python (Shell)
* Strong analytical, problem solving skills with minor supervision
* Good bookkeeping (test cases) to identify the coverage of testing
* Identify the high risks during the project migration
Other skills will include: data warehouse development (not database development)
