QA Engineer (mobile experience a plus) Job in Atlanta 30328, Georgia US

About This Job
This exciting, high-energy digital start-up is searching for a QA Engineer with an agile attitude, who will help ensure our social marketplace solution that includes both a rich web experience, as well as mobile capability is of the highest quality possible. You will be charged with helping to build and test an application that uses leading edge technologies in the cloud, implementing best-in-software development craftsmanship.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
•Mentor team members on software craftsmanship techniques to ensure high quality.
•Collaborate with Business Analysts to create Acceptance Criteria ahead of development.
•Recommend test strategies and testing solutions
•Test integration aspects of the application
•Perform application exploratory tests
•Create, execute and maintain automated test suites
•Create, maintain and execute load, performance and stress test procedures
Qualifications:
•At least three years of web application testing experience
•At least one year of experience automating tests
•At least one year of experience with performance, stress and load tests
•Agile Test Techniques and Practices required. Candidates already working on agile teams are preferred.
•Experience querying databases. (MongoDB is a plus)
•Programming experience in any language is a plus
•Good problem solving skills
•Courage to learn, ask questions and ask for help
•Unix administration and/or scripting skills a plus, but not required
•Experience with open source test tools such as Selenium and Cucumber a plus
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate communication with engineering and business teams.
•Mobile (Android/iOS) experience is a big plus.
