QA Engineer - Web-based applications - Automated Testing
We offer cloud based software solutions to our clients nationwide. We are a private, well-funded start-up company and have been extremely profitable through the turn of this rough economy. We are growing! We are developing new products as well as integration work and we need a QA Analyst to test our software products.
What you need for this position:
- BS degree or higher
- Minimum 2 years testing experience in with enterprise software or commercial software products
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies
- Experience testing the performance, scalability and security of Enterprise level applications
- Understanding of Quality Assurance concepts including system integration, user acceptance, regression testing, performance, and load testing
- Performance testing tools and practices including automated, performance, and system load testing is a plus.
- Background or familiarity in Agile development / Scrum methodology is a big plus
What will you be doing:
- Write, create and execute test plans and scenarios for web based software
- Manual and Automated Testing
- Performing multiple testing cycles in product integration and user acceptance environments
- Defect reporting and tracking
- Author test plans, test case scenarios, and user acceptance testing criteria by reviewing and analyzing functional specification documents that define a product’s business requirements, scope, risks, and solutions
- Use test defect tracking tools to log, report and track testing defects and resolutions
- Maintain test plans, test case scenarios, and automated test scenarios for product updates and upgrades
- Work in an Agile team environment
