QA Internal Audit Trainee (Fixed Term Contract – 11 months) recruitment

Main responsibilities

Preparation of periodic reports and statistics for the department for the Regional Head of Audit and Departmental management (under the guidance of the Quality Assurance and Reporting Manager). Including the recommendation tracking application KART and the project tracking tool (DATT).
Assist with other departmental administrative tasks as directed.
From time to time, supporting Auditors in the execution of business audits and in the follow-up of audit recommendations under the supervision of the Heads of Mission and/or Business Auditors within the DCPE UK Region.

Level of authority

Able to make decisions on individual assignments however assignments are subject to review at all stages by the Quality Assurance and Reporting Manager and/or Business Auditor.
Not able to express internal audit 'opinion' without prior clearance by Head of Department

Internal external contacts

Interaction with UK Internal Audit team regarding queries on reporting statistics.
Regular interaction with the Regional Head of Audit and supervision by the Quality Assurance and Reporting Manager.
Contact with DCPE central support functions in Paris under the supervision of the Quality Assurance and Reporting Manager and the Head of Department.

The core of the role will consist in the production of high quality MI for the Internal Audit department. The successful candidate will therefore be proficient in MS office. Advanced VBA programming will be a plus.
