QA Lead
A leading financial services company based in the City is looking for a Quality Assurance test team leader to manage a small team of test analysts. The successful QA Lead will have considerable exposure to quality assurance environments in the financial sector and recent experience managing people. The candidate should have experience testing trading systems or other scalable, distributed systems that support high transactions per second. Must be a capable team builder, able to influence, define goals and manage outcomes. Knowledge of credit derivatives, bonds, swaps and commodities trading is beneficial.
Responsibilities
• Manage the QA team and increase the team’s productivity and capabilities
• Analysis of requirements
• Creation and implementation of functional, system, regression and stress test cases, test plans and procedures
• Performance Testing and Stress Testing
• Documentation of test results
• Builds and deployments of .NET application to QA
• Execution of software tests
• Organise and attend review meetings throughout the development lifecycle
• Creation and maintenance of test and environment data
• Logging, monitoring and retesting of all bugs found
• Day-to-day planning of individual test analyst(s) assignments.
• Assist other test analysts with system, performance and regression testing
Technical Skills
• .NET and Microsoft Technologies
• Experience using PerfMon
• PowerShell, basic scripting skills
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server, basic SQL and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, bandwidth, latency, NAT, etc
• SVN, Git, Jira, Confluence
