Identify critical functionality being implemented and ensure thorough/adequate test strategies for each application. Identify test interdependencies across application space for functional requirements. Ensure comprehensive mapping from requirements through test scripts for entire release scope. Coordinate test execution. Monitoring, tracking and review of all outstanding defects across applications. Analytics and reporting of all test deliverables by application. Responsible for communication of test activities to support Program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Requires thorough technical and operational knowledge within the QA area of responsibility with specific responsibilities for leadership and supervision of design, development and implementation of test strategies and tools. -Responsible for developing QA work plans, establishing technical objectives, resource ramp-up/ramp-down decisions, resource allocation, assigning tasks, and managing groups/teams. -Maintains schedules and coordinates activities of an entire group or team. Providing Level of Effort, Test Environment requirements, identify resource/skills and test schedule. -Monitors the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensures that technical and functional objectives are met. -Interface with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs and technical knowledge. -Develops solutions to difficult problems, which may require ingenuity and creativity, communicates progress toward project/program goals. -Coordinates activities with overall development team, administers the testing problem management process including monitoring and reporting on problem resolution. -Identifies and recommends changes to established practices and policies. -Manages the selection, development and retention of proactive, technically strong service oriented staff. Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Assurance, Testing and/or Project Management. Experience managing teams on and off shore Working knowledge of both Manual and Automated testing Experience creating test scripts Experience defining overall test strategy Banking/Mortgage Servicing, Default and Financial transaction experience is a plus.
