QA Manager Job in Mississauga L5C2V8, Ontario Canada

•Ensure that all quality programs, initiatives and commitments are maintained and enhanced where possible.
•Sustain ISO 9001:2008 accreditation through periodic assessments, training, and compliance management.
•Achieve annual objectives while remaining within budgetary limits.
•Lead in the development and implementation of Root Cause Analysis program, designed to reduce the number of NC's.
•Key team contributor to LEAN/Continuous Improvement and Cost of Quality programs.
•Revise and improve company procedures and processes, conduct QA and configuration audits, and certify new suppliers.
•Takes every reasonable precaution to protect the health and safety of direct reports including the:
•Establishment of safe work procedures.
•Education of staff and the orientation of new workers.
•Appointment of competent supervision.
•Performance of frequent workplace inspections.
•Immediate reporting of accidents and incidents and participation in their investigations.
•Initiation of action required to correct substandard conditions.

Who we're looking for
• Excellent communication skills, plus the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• In depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 quality standards and military specifications.
• Ability to create results through customer responsiveness and continuous process improvement.
• LEAN/Six Sigma working knowledge and practical experience a must!
• Generate training materials and programs as required, and conduct training sessions to support quality system.
• At least 5 years in managing a quality department in an aerospace manufacturing company.
