Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation ongoing maintenance of QA system to ISO 9001 standard
  • Development continuous improvement of QA/QC procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with the QA system maintenance of site QA registers
  • Preparation of relevant QA reporting
  • Internal Audits of the QA system
  • Ensure drawings and specifications are current and controlled on the project
  • Preparation and verification of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) data
  • Maintain and monitor non-conformance registers corrective action registers
  • Maintain company standard for QA and Health, Safety and Environment
  • Train and mentor project staff across QA/QC principles and practices
  • Assess and report on external providers QA/QC systems and practices

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a QA Management role within the construction industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role preferably within the Mining, Infrastructure, Construction and/or Oil Gas Industries
  • Understanding of Australian Construction Quality requirements standards
  • Understanding of Quality Document Control, procedures reporting
  • Internal Audit experience (qualifications preferred)
  • High attention to detail excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Developed and mature relationship, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Safety Awareness Training (White Card)
