QA Manager PM Shift Food industry Job in North London, London UK
An exciting role for a QA Manager on the late shift.
THE COMPANY
Is a vibrant, fast growing manufacturer of premium snack foods, supplying most of the major multiple retailers, both with branded and retailer own-label products.
THE QA MANAGER role is a factory based position. The main responsibilities of which are:-
•responsible for all quality/compliance issues on your shift which will be from 3pm -11-pm Mon -Fri plus every third weekend.
•develop and maintain the company quality management system, which includes Quality manuals and HACCP study
•ensure the company meets its obligations to produce safe and legal products to agreed specifications.
•Responsible for completion of internal technical specifications, raw material specifications and documentation relating to food safety and legality
THE CANDIDATE
This is a challenging environment with a wide range of compliance requirements so we need to hear from talented factory based food industry quality professionals
• Preferably qualified to degree standard in a food science relevant discipline and with a proven ability to successfully manage and motivate a team of people.
•Your IT skills will be first class, you will be a natural administrator and champion the quality message throughout the business
•Ideally you will have worked in a business that supplies into major retailer clients.
•You will understand the high pressure nature of the food manufacturing business and will be able to consistently perform to the standards necessary.
