QA Quality Engineer, Southampton £40k Job in Southampton, Southern UK
Quality Engineer required to join a busy Quality Assurance team of a leading high technology security company in Southampton, Hampshire. As Quality Engineer you will take on board a range of Quality Assurance tasks in support of a wide variety of engineering processes and multi-disciplinary projects, with a focus on quality planning, auditing and process control and improvement.
Ideally you should have some experience of quality assurance or engineering in a design and development, engineering and/or production environment. He or she should be familiar with quality planning and auditing processes and have knowledge of common quality control and quality assurance tools and techniques. Be able to communicate confidently, clearly and effectively at all levels of the business and have an analytical and logical approach.
To be considered for this position:
• Assist project managers and project teams with all aspects of project quality assurance
• Create and maintain project quality plans and associated documentation
• Provide QA assistance to support departments and product realisation processes
• Conduct, report and follow-up on project and process audits
• Assist with the maintenance of ISO9001 and TickIT approvals
• Ensure the quality assurance policies and processes are effectively implemented and maintained
• Participate in all other QA activities as directed by the Company Quality Manager
