Coordinates the flow of work amongst staff members to ensure continuity and completion. Performs problem management and escalation to support staff and management using established policies and procedures. Develops relationships and interfaces directly with customers; analyzes customer concerns and issues and addresses issues appropriately and promptly. Prepares and/or reviews records and reports. Recommends changes to quality control standards to improve efficiency. Researches and evaluates operations technologies in order to help establish their potential use. Tests new and modified programs or work routines. Recommends and/or initiates the selection and hiring of employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Makes recommendations for salary increases, transfers and terminations to manager. Recommends measures to improve processes, employee performance, and quality of service provided to the customer. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet task schedules using personal knowledge of capabilities of supervised staff. Interprets company policy and acts as an advisor for subordinates. Ensures adherence to policy and requests exceptions based on business/employee needs as appropriate. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, science, business administration or related field preferred Six or more years of supervisory experience in quality assurance included Three or more years of leadership experience included Experience working with quality system management, quality control, quality assurance, performance measurement, statistical analysis and statistical process control Experience working with computer operations, scheduling software, and other related technologies Experience working with testing methodologies Other Qualifications Good interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and clients Good communication skills Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work Good analytical and problem solving skills Good human relations skills to select, develop, mentor, discipline and reward employees Good personal computer and business solutions software skills Good program/project management planning, scheduling, estimating, and management skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly Ability to work in a team environment Ability to develop presentation and decision briefing material Must have 3 years of experience in Process Audits, Documentation reviews and Medicaid or Healthcare Payer QA Three years of experience in DDI QA and Medicaid or Healthcare Payer QA Experiencein metrics an Medicaid or Healthcare Payer QA Remote Work Authorized: No Relocation Assistence: Not Available Clearance Level: None
