QA Tester Job in San Antonio, Texas US
Timberhorn is seeking Quality Assurance Testers for San Antonio and Austin. Qualified applicants must have the following:
Job Requirements:
· 6 – 9 Years of IT Development/Testing Experience
· Expertise with Automation tools to include Selenium and/or QTP.
· Basic Programming Experience in the following languages
v Basic Core Java ( Must have)
v Advanced Java (Nice to have)
v BDD ( nice to have)
· Scripting Experience
a. Experience with at least 1 or two of the following scripting languages
v Java script
v VB Script
v Ruby
v Python/Perl
· Experience with API/Web Services testing using the following ( at least one is a must)
a. SOAP
b. REST
· API Tools (Advanced understanding, including stringing tests together with Groovy)
a. SOAP UI
b. Parasoft SOA
· Database programming
a. Experience with basic SQL
v Indexes,
v Joins (inner and outer joins)
v Stored Procedures
v Triggers
v T-SQL
· Knowledge of WSDL/WADL
· Knowledge of XML Schema and validation of XML/WSDL/WADL
· Expert in Test planning, Test case specification and Test execution
· Experience with Functional, Integration, Back-end and End-to-End testing
· Strong troubleshooting skills and testing different layers of a complex SOA platform
· Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
