QA Testing Technical Lead
Includes design, development, and implementation of testing procedures; creation of test plans, test cases and scripts to support testing objectives; implementation of quality assurance and testing methodologies, processes, standards, and tools. Essential Functions: - Supervises technical aspect of all QA work activities: - Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on specific program or application. - Develops and executes project plans which are aligned with and follows the appropriate project delivery process for the testing phase, which may include work plans, schedules, milestones, critical paths and deliverable/responsibility matrices. - Acts as decision point for technical problems for efficient program/application solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements and analyses. - Ensures appropriate technical testing resources for projects. - Accountable for time and resource estimates for projects. - Performs analysis of requirements to determine feasibility for testing - Designs, and develops testing procedures, and ensures that they are properly analyzed and that recommendations to improve testing processes are effective. - Ensures compliance with established methodologies, processes, standards and tools within the context of the appropriate project delivery process. - Exercises judgment in Identifying and recommending testing tools to gain further efficiencies in the testing process. - Reviews and recommends new KP-IT standards and strategies. - Designs, and develops testing procedures, and ensures that they are properly analyzed and that recommendations to improve testing processes are effective. - Ensures compliance with established methodologies, processes, standards and tools within the context of the appropriate project delivery process. - Exercises judgment in Identifying and recommending testing tools to gain further efficiencies in the testing process. - Reviews and recommends new KP-IT standards and strategies. - Validates external specifications (requirement/user specifications, functional specifications and architecture) to verify that the specifications are testable. - Creates test plans, test cases, and scripts for most complex applications and ensure they support testing objectives. - Ensures tests are executed and analyzed properly. - Oversees test case development documentation, execution of tests and any specific technical work. - Working with clients to expand project requirements into fully testable requirementsP - Providing estimates for level of effort documentation for Statement Of Work (SOW), participate in Requirements Review Walkthrough - Creating test scenarios and test data - Execution of test cases - Tracking and managing all defects using Quality Center - Creation of test plan and test summary documents - Creation of status reports and making presentations to management and clients - Escalating testing and project issues to test leads and management Qualifications: Basic Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years of equivalent work experience - A minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing - Hands-on experience with design, development, and implementation of testing procedures; creation of test plans, test cases and scripts to support testing objectives. - Experience with implementation of quality assurance and testing methodologies, processes, standards, and tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Epic Clinical - Ambulatory or Inpatient or Billing testing experience - Kaiser specific application knowledge ex. MUSE, eReferral, Mosaiq
