QC inspector cum machinist needed for Oil and Gas co. in NW Houston inside Beltway 8. Minimum 5-7 yrs. industry experience in similar role. Proficient in standard machine shop measuring equipment and machining practices. Experienced with ISO documentation. Computer literate.

· Inspection of purchased materials and associated documentation prior to booking in.
· Dimensional and NDT inspection of manufactured parts as a final part of the manufacturing process.
· Arranging, expediting and completion of any outsourced inspection.
· Site inspection of Vector parts.
· Train and coach other employees as required.
· Assist with the NCR and customer complaints processes. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances and contribute to installation of practices, methods or equipment to prevent a reoccurrence.
· Assist with the development of internal quality procedures.
· NDT qualified to ASNT-TC-1A Level II preferred
· Ability to use MS Office applications.
· Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine is desirable.
· Previous machining experience is desirable.
Experience with material certification is desirable.
