QHSE Coordinator

·         To develop Line Managers awareness and ensure Service Quality – SQ and Health, Safety and Environment - HSE are an integral part of Line Management responsibilities and objectives.

·         To assist Management and Support Functions in:

-          Establishing, maintaining, implementing and improving the Tesco QHSE Management System.

-          Defining SQ and HSE annual objectives.

-          Assessing hazards and develop prevention and mitigation measures for risk reduction

-          Liaising with clients, third party subcontractors, and regulatory agencies regarding SQ and HSE issues.

-          Prepare and implement SQ and HSE plans required to ensure optimum minimization of the above and compliance to policies, standards and procedures.

-          Manage WCB claims.

-          Setting up the controls required to verify and ensure proper implementation and maintaining related records

-          Conducting Management review meetings to assess the effectiveness of the SQ and HSE Management System and identify required improvements.

·         To advise Management on corrective action required.

·         To co-ordinate and actively participate in the screening and training of all personnel, including subcontractors.

·          To keep abreast of any new development or policy related to SQ and HSE and inform management accordingly

·         To ensure that the relevant SQ and HSE documentation is available and well kept on each location under responsibility

·         To advise Management on the compliance of the local SQ and HSE program with all local regulations and QHSE Corporate Standards based on local hazard analysis.

·         To participate in liaising with third party subcontractors, clients and regulator agencies regarding HSE topics.

·         To actively follow-up on QHSE related subjects and participate in SQ and HSE audits and investigations of major failures and accidents

·         To develop and maintain a high level of awareness among all personnel through communication, training, and active personal involvement of employees in SQ and HSE activities. Promote reporting of PQ/SQ nonconformities and HSE near misses and hazardous situations.

·         To recommend changes to the SQ and HSE programs

·         To ensure regular updating of personal qualifications and attend to personal training as required.

·         To assist management to implement SQ Minimum requirements for each product line
