QA Automation Engineer
Position Description
- Analyse and resolve compatibility issues between the Trend application and 3rd party and in-house test automation tools, including Quick Test Professional
- Analyse existing test automation frameworks written in Quick Test Professional
- Implement modularised, reusable and extensible test automation framework for the Trend application using tools such as Quick Test Professional
- Implement modularised, reusable and extensible test automation frameworks using Morgan Stanley in-house tools as appropriate
- Perform technical proof of concept activities for test automation using 3rd party tools and in-house tools
- Create automated test scripts and code components using 3rd party tools and in-house tools
- Assist QA teams and end users to create test scenarios using the test automation frameworks developed
Skills Required
- Extensive experience in the practical application of testing methodology
- Extensive experience with the use of testing tools (eg QTP, Test Complete, etc) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the software development process.
Skills Desired
- Experience testing financial software systems is desired. Knowledge of credit/IRD derivatives, confirm/settlement process is a plus.
- Experience with Java, C++,.NET, WPF development environment is a plus.
