Our client, a Top 4 firm of chartered accountants, is recruiting a dynamic qualified accountant to join their accounting services team in Hull.
The firm provides a high quality accounting service to multi-national companies, UK mid-tier and Investment entities. They provide all inclusive payroll and accounting services, statutory financial statement preparation services, and provide qualified and experienced accountants to work on interim projects in industry.

They are looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with proven experience in a professional practice environment. You will be able to demonstrate strong accounting skills and good technical knowledge of financial reporting matters, very good working knowledge of UK GAAP, ideally some knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, and some knowledge of cross border VAT and P11D issues.
You will be working on a varied portfolio of clients providing monthly and quarterly management accounts, statutory financial statements, consolidated financial statements, and ad hoc secondments to clients to undertake the preparation of year-end financial statements and special accounting projects.
The role will largely be office based, some travel to client sites will be required, and daily hours of employment are 8.30am to 5pm.
