As a Finance Professional your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Full or part accountancy qualification
- Strong technical skills: Excel, Access, Powerpoint
- Experience of working in a commercially focused Business Partnering role
- Numerate with excellent analytical, business awareness and influencing skills.
- A keen interest in developing a career within Santander finance
- Strong and well practiced skills in analysing, reporting and reconciling large amounts of data
- Ability to collate and interpret business results, defining issues/areas of improvement and recommending changes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
As a Finance Professional your main responsibilities will involve:
- Produce monthly income and cost analysis and insights into business performance for monthly presentations to Santander UK Board
- Play a key role in agreeing the 5 Year annual budgets plans for sales, revenue and costs and working with the various teams to set yearly targets
- Provide knowledge and business case support to aid decision making in the wider Finance Business Development team
- Identify opportunities to create new reports develop existing reports to meet changing business needs
