Qualified Assistants are required to work in a beautiful centre in the North Melbourne area. We currently have positions available for a January start for efficient and enthusiastic Certificate 3’s. The centre is clean and has natural light in every room, with a strong emphasis on using only natural materials for learning and play. The centre is located close to public transport and only minutes from the CBD.
The desired candidate must have a strong work ethic, be task orientated and have the ability to take direction well. You will be responsible for ensuring the children are provided with the highest quality care and your Room Leader is supported at all times. The centre requires a CPR update, Emergency Asthma Management update, First Aid and Anaphylaxis. Only applicants with the mentioned checks will be considered for the role.
A generous salary is offered and you will be working with a supportive, committed and dedicated team. A Certificate 3 in Children’s Services and a Working with Children’s Card are essential.
Training and support is given on a regular basis for all the staff. This position is for an immediate start. You will need to demonstrate knowledge of the ‘NEYF’.
