QUALIFIED ACA OR ACCA PRACTICE ACCOUNTANT BUSINESS ADVISOR PORTFOLIO MANAGER FOR RESPECTED FIRM OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN POOLE
Working closely with the firm's Directors and management team you will produce statutory accounts to be filed at Companies House in accordance with UK GAAP for small, medium and large sized companies, produce iXBRL accounts for Corporation Tax purposes, plan and perform statutory and voluntary company audits, in accordance with the appropriate auditing standards and review the work undertaken by other team members. You will also attend client meetings as and when required, liaise with other team members, as and when required, to ensure deadlines are met and client service levels are maintained, budget and monitor the progress of assignments and monitor and deliver the key performance indicators in line with the firm’s business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accountancy practice, with strong audit skills and a genuine enthusiasm for it. They will need to be able to prepare an accurate set of accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and have strong IT skills with extensive experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Sage Line 50 and Digita Accounts Pro.
They will be ACCA or ACA qualified, have and maintain a good technical knowledge, be able to work as part of a team, be good at working under their own initiative and have strong communication skills both with clients and team members. They must be able to multi-task and prioritise own work load, exercise good time management skills, have excellent report writing skills, integrity and honesty and exhibit a professional manner at all times.
