The Corporate Center supports UBS' s business divisions and regions through provision of Group-level control functions, covering Finance, Legal Compliance and Risk, and shared services including HR, Information Technology, Communications Branding and Supply Demand Management.

In this role, you will be part of Group Controlling Accounting within the 'Group Chief Financial Officer' area.

The team 'Group Accounting - Financial Reporting Analysis' is responsible for the preparation, production and analysis of UBS' Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other relevant requirements and aiming to achieve best in class financial reporting.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified and dynamic accounting expert to develop your own skills and career. You will own the preparation and production of several disclosures in UBS's financial statements in interim and annual reports in accordance with IFRS and other relevant requirements and actively work closely together with other finance teams globally in order to ensure full front-to-back process and content integrity of the Financial Statements. Furthermore, the future incumbent will pro-actively develop and maintain internal reporting products that serve as control documentation with regards to external disclosures.

Further responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Establish, develop and maintain sound controls and governance procedures.
Manage the comprehensive UBS wide disclosure checklist process to ensure that the Financial Statements in its entirety are meeting relevant disclosure requirements.
Ensure transparency and appropriate communication to senior management with regards to process and content improvement areas in the production of external disclosures.
Prepare presentations for UBS's senior Finance bodies with regards to UBS' Financial Statement disclosures
Act as Group Accounting liaison to internal and external auditors.
Support implementation of new and complex accounting standards and solutions within UBS, including technical review and consideration of operational feasibility.

To succeed in this position you bring in the following qualifications and skills:

Master's degree in Business / Economics combined with a CPA or equivalent degree.
Minimum 4 years audit experience at a Big 4 firm, with a deep know-how of IFRS.
Minimum 4 years experience in financial accounting and reporting at a large multinational, preferably in the financial services industry.
Knowledge of Swiss GAAP reporting requirements would be an advantage but is not a must.
Strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem solving skills.
Outstanding communication skills in English and ability to interact with staff at all levels.
Proficient user of MS Office. SAP BW knowledge would be an asset.
Hands-on mentality, pro-active attitude and flexibility during close periods.
