The Role: Financial Accountant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a leading Investment Bank for a period of 6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for both Financial and Management accounts. The position is initially for 6 months on a fixed term contract basis and is based near Bank Station.
The Role:
* Responsible for all financial reporting and accounting operations as well as business performance management.
* Assisting the manager with the production of statutory accounts,
* Responsible for the preparation of various management reports to be submitted to senior management to provide analysis and oversight of the business
* Liaising with overseas offices and providing ad hoc support to other teams in the business
The Requirements:
* Must be Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with at least 2/3 years PQE
* Strong Financial Accounting background with some experience of management accounts.
* You must have gained your experience in a Banking or Financial Services business
* You will be self motivated, hard working and have good attention to detail.
* Available to start work on short notice
