This person will work in conjunction with the Business Analysis and Development teams to ensure that the applications meet requirements and are of high quality. 
Reviews Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Test Cases to understand the functional and technical requirements in order to test the application and verify those requirements are successfully met. 
 
The role includes writing test strategies and detailed test plans for each application release. Conduct test strategy and test plan walkthroughs.  Design test procedures, and required test configurations.  Executes test scripts and documents defects for test scripts where the actual results do not successfully meet expected results.  The test scripts will include new functionality, regression, end-to-end, and data validation.   Create estimates and allocate resources to meet the testing goals and timeline.   Works closely with development and project team members to ensure proper test coverage for all functionality.  Has significant interaction with internal customers and project team members.  This role also includes support of UAT and/or PVT efforts. 
 
Effective communication with on and offshore team members is paramount as this role includes leading other team members.  The resource is expected to be self-sufficient.  Will be expected to have 5+ years of QA experience working through all phases of the Software Delivery lifecycle.    Should make informed decisions, follow standards, use independent judgment, resolve complex problems, be highly-motivated, multi-task, and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
