Quality Assurance Analyst Job in Wilmington, Delaware US

Skills:

o Experience with IVR testing and/or Dialer and OnQ.

o Relevant IT/quality assurance work experience

o Hands on software testing experience

o Knowledge of Quality Center, MS Office

o Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle; specifically QA process and test methodologies

o Excellent Project Coordination and Project tracking skills

o Experience in collaborating within an Onshore/Offshore model preferred

o Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

o Strong time management skills ability to prioritize responsibilities and deliverables

o Excellent verbal and written skills; capable in communicating effectively on both a technical and business/operational level

o Attention to detail

o Ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise concerns and seek resolution to outstanding questions of test case identification

o Excellent work ethic

o Experience working across lines of businesses; multiple cross function teams in remote locations preferred

Roles and Responsibilities:

o Ensure comprehensive test coverage exists by understanding the test scope and approach of inter-dependent QA groups.

o Work with application development teams, participation in solution design and ensure testability of functions and applications.

o Hands-on testing

o Identify areas for improving efficiency, shortening of test cycles, and automation of test scripts and recommend solutions for improvement.

o Facilitate execution of automated test scripts

o Interact with internal customers both onsite and remotely

o Performs root cause analysis to identify and recommend test scope and test approach improvements

o Possess technical and operational knowledge in the QA area

o Assist with design, development and implementation of test strategies and tools

o Assist with forecast Test Levels of Effort

o Identify Test Environment requirements

o Present and/or escalate project and technical needs

o Coordinate activities with overall development team

o Assist in creating and maintaining QA procedure documents

o Responsible for defect management including monitoring and reporting on defect resolution

o Create test cases and test scripts using detailed business requirements, functional documents and processes

o Assist Application Developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving defects

o Identify recommend changes to established practices and policies
