QA Analyst - Trading Systems
This position requires a skilled software QA engineer with a background in testing client/server applications. Working closely with the QA manager, the candidate will be responsible for identifying software defects and working with product management to create and execute comprehensive test plans.
* Work closely with system users and stakeholders to resolve issues
* Perform automated testing
* Document all testing
* Strive to improve technologies and methodologies for the benefit of the firm
QA Analyst - Trading Systems
* Over 4 years SQA experience in a trading platform environment, preferably in foreign exchange (FX)
* Bachelor degree or strong / equivalent industry experience.
* A deep understanding of the SDLC
* SQL / Oracle database understanding and Unix / Windows O/S.
* Back end troubleshooting experience involving SQL and UNIX scripting
* Automation development experience with manual QA testing experience - Development (above user level) experience with automation tools such as QTP, Selenium etc
* Java and Perl programming experience gives candidates a strong advantage
* Jira and Bugzilla experience will add advantage along with FIX understanding
