Quality Assurance Engineer Job in New York City, New York US

Our client company, one of the worlds leading designers and manufacturers of power conversion and electro-mechanical equipment has a need for a Senior Quality Engineer.  Their products are used in a wide variety of applications that includes the industrial, scientific and medical market segments.  This well established company has been in business for over 50 years and has grown revenues by 300% over the last 10 years.  Even in this challenging economy they are experiencing their best year ever in terms of profits and revenues!  This growing company has developed an excellent global footprint with manufacturing facilities in the United States, Mexico, Europe and Asia.  

 

In the role of Senior Quality Engineer you will develop quality goals and objectives for the department while providing leadership to junior level engineers. You will also monitor and improve the company’s quality management data systems and ensure customer satisfaction.

 

**PLEASE NOTE** This position requires that the individual must be located at the company’s facility in the Northeastern United Sates and they will provide relocation assistance for the qualified individual. Along with a performance bonus, the compensation package for this position will include an outstanding base salary that is in the $100,000 range!

 

The qualified candidate for Senior Quality Engineer must have:

 

*7 years of Quality Engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.

*Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related curriculum.

*Masters Degree preferred.

*Experience implementing quality management systems is a plus.

*Technical Understanding of Printed Circuit Board Assembly, dielectrics, injection

   molding, and electro-mechanical assemblies .

*Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
