**Quality Assurance Engineer** – Leading Business
An Internationally recognised automotive OEM has a very urgent requirement for a Quality Engineer to join their expanding UK team. Currently employing over 2000 people across facilities in the UK, Asia and America. They are the biggest manufacturer and UK’s market leader of innovative travel systems.
You will be of graduate caliber in an engineering discipline and from an automotive or heavy industry background. You should have an excellent understanding of quality systems and be willing to travel across Europe when the need arises.
Your core duties:
·
Continual development and evaluation of suppliers and services
·
Assessing new suppliers and their ability to deliver quality product requirements
·
Supporting new product development
·
Internal/External Quality Audits to ISO 9001:2008
·
Conduct investigations and provide resolutions to project failure
·
Resolution of supplier problems.
You:
·
5 years manufacturing experience
·
Good communication skills and the ability to build internal external relationships
·
Proven use knowledge of CAD tools in 2D 3D
·
Experience of mechanical parts and plastics
·
You must be able work well within a team but also use your own initiative
·
Quality best practice
·
You must be a competent problem solver
