Purpose of Position:
The Quality Assurance Lead will manage daily activities surrounding Teleflora product quality assurance. The QA Lead will work closely with one or more Teleflora product business owner(s), one or more Teleflora project manager(s), and one or more Teleflora IT development director(s). The QA Lead must be able to understand Teleflora’s business goals, member florist’s core business needs, the internet industry including security issues, testing environments, load impact and testing procedures and tools on web products, and quality assurance industry best practices. The QA Lead will design, create and communicate metrics relating to testing cycles, effectiveness of test scripts, and human resource management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Using standard project management techniques, lead a team of QA testers to create and execute robust manual and automated test scripts, and accurately record and communicate results

- Create and manage QA processes.
- In collaboration with IT development director(s) and DBAs, manage and perform Teleflora product load testing.
- Communicate testing results/metrics with Teleflora business owners, QA managers, project managers, and development team.
- Apply Quality Assurance best practices to drive continuous improvement and quality to Teleflora software products.
- Consistently support Teleflora’s Core Values.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Education/Experience:
- High School degree or equivalent required, Bachelor’s / Technical degree or equivalent experience required.
- Three or more years of previous experience in web Quality Assurance
