Quality Assurance Manager
A rapidly growing manufacturer of machined products in the Omaha area needs a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee all areas relating to quality assurance control for a plant facility employing 150 employees. The plant is involved in machining and fabricating of industrial products. Will be responsible for a department of 5 and for prioritizing, scheduling, and delegating work assignments to the quality assurance staff to ensure the meeting of quality specifications and standards of ISO and ASME Code. Will establish and implement quality procedures and specifications, testing procedures, and standards for raw materials and for in-process and finished products. Will develop audit quality systems and procedures and will initiate corrective action as required. Will develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques and process control procedures ensuring production of finished products meeting quality specification and standards. Will perform PPAP analysis and will develop and lead cross-function teams to address and resolve quality issues and to improve levels of quality and productivity. The position requires a BS Degree and 7+ years of related experience in machined products within a metal working environment. Must be have the potential to possibly be promoted to the plant manager position. Candidates in the Omaha area are preferred.
